In this study, Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) outperformed standard care in pain reduction at 1 month and 1 year timepoints in patients with a diagnosis of chronic primary back pain. Improvements in symptoms were correlated with changes in brain function as measured by fMRI scans.
